Art that Rises
From the Depths

Digital art for the disabled, by the disabled. A celebration of resilience, creativity, and the beauty that emerges from chaos.

About the Artist

Artist Profile - ARose from Chaos Art

Hi — I'm Rosalie, the artist behind ARose from Chaos Art Studios.

I've been making art for most of my life. In 2019 I began working digitally after my disabilities progressed and I could no longer work in traditional ways. Digital art opened a new, practical, and joyful path for creating.

Art has always been my passion — even before I could draw, I would ask others to sketch while I colored and imagined my own pieces. Discovering digital tools and the wider art community felt like falling in love with making art all over again. I learned new techniques, explored different styles, and found fresh sources of inspiration.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Applied Learning and Development, focusing on special populations. Advocating for people with disabilities in education is important to me, and when I became disabled I began using my art to celebrate what I called "Disabled Joy." Over time, as I explored the intersectionality of identities in my work, the phrase "Marginalized Joy" felt even more true.

I create a wide range of work — from pet portraits to World of Warcraft–inspired fantasy commissions — and I love collaborating on new ideas. If you have a vision, let's talk and bring it to life.

I look forward to working with you.
